Fostering Healthy Futures for Pre-Teens - Interns/Mentors

Duration: September 2026-May 2027:
  • 13-19 hours per week; driving required, evening hours required 
    • Open to all graduate students in social work, psychology, or related programs. A good fit for first year graduate students or first clinical experience. 
    • Mentors receive mileage reimbursement and mentoring activity funds to utilize on visits, ensuring there are no out-of-pocket expenses associated with the internship.
    • 8 FHF Pre-Teen mentor internship positions available

Fostering Healthy Futures for Pre-Teens Program Interns - Skills Group Co-Leaders

Duration: September 2026-May 2027
  • Student, intern, or volunteer working toward a bachelor's or graduate degree in psychology, social work, or related field.  
  • 13-20 hours/week; driving required, evening hours required
  • Co-Leaders receive mileage reimbursement when supporting with transportation
  • 2 FHF-Pre-Teens skills group co-leader positions available

Fostering Healthy Futures for Teens - Interns/Mentor

Duration: September 2026-May 2027
  • Open to all graduate students in social work, psychology, or related programs. A good fit for 2nd year graduate students or 1st year students with prior experience working with teens.
  • 16-20 hours per week; driving required, evening and weekend hours required.
  • Mentors receive mileage reimbursement and mentoring activity funds to utilize on visits, ensuring there are no out-of-pocket expenses associated with the internship.
  • 6-7 FHF-Teen mentor positions available
